Everything Comes in Cycles; Everything Fades in Shades

United in yet another project, Paul Petrosyan and Tyler Etters wrote Serial Index of Unclaimed Memories under their latest psuedonym: Everything Comes in Cycles; Everything Fades in Shades. This digital-only release took seven months of near continuous work to complete and is comprised of two files.

File 1 is a spiraling nine track safari into the chaotic and serene realms of post-electronica. Astral, delay-riddled guitars, trip-hop/IDM drums, orchestrated ambience, lo-fi cassette deck samples, distorted bass, and psychosis inducing drones are just a few of the cards brought to the table. File 2, also comprised of nine seperate tracks (here called ‘Movements’), is akin to a stream of consciousness dialouge between failing super-computer systems. Almost entirely ‘ambient’, File 2 explores an entirely different realm than the first.

The 77 Gates of Cycles & Shades is a collaborative piece of art work like no other. Each physical copy of Gates contains an open invitation instructing the owner to submit a ‘beautiful image’ for use in this project. The goal is to have all 77 Gates activated creating a mosiac of time, space, and memory to be immortalized on the internet forever. This is truely a unique and special project that we are honored to curate. Proceed to the gates.
